1. Remove duplicate photos first

2. Compare similar photos
Similar photos can contain different expressions, motion, lighting, or framing. They should not be deleted automatically. Grouping them first makes comparison easier while keeping the final choice in your hands.
Version 1.27.0 also improves the transition between selecting and viewing similar photos. Lists update with less flicker, so reviewing multiple groups feels smoother and more predictable.
3. Review videos and screenshots
Videos often offer the largest storage savings. A few long clips can use more space than hundreds of photos. The new version improves video playback throughout Doggy Cleaner, fixes black screens and loading problems when switching clips, and adds seamless looping to make video review easier.
For screenshots, check whether the information has expired or still has value as a receipt, ticket, or reference.
After confirming deletion, remember that iOS keeps removed photos in Recently Deleted for a limited time. Storage is not fully reclaimed until those items are removed from that album.
